The Egyptian and Roberto Firmino were on target as Southampton were beaten 2-0 at St Mary’s, and Sadio Mane’s stunning hat-trick inspired a 5-0 Champions League victory over FC Porto.
All three forwards, plus Emre Can, then did the damage to round off February with a 4-1 success against West Ham United at Anfield.
