Liverpool have no fresh injury concerns ahead of Tuesday’s visit to Huddersfield Town, but are set to be without the services of Adam Lallana and Ragnar Klavan once more.

The duo will continue their injury rehabilitation programmes at Melwood and Jürgen Klopp expects to be able to select from a similar squad of players to the one he had for Saturday’s FA Cup tie with West Bromwich Albion.

Asked for a fitness update in his pre-match press conference, the boss replied: “I’m not sure in the moment, it’s really close. We have again a few knocks, different things, but nothing decided so far in this moment.

"It looks like all the players who were available for the last game are available again, but not 100 per cent.”
