Mohamed Salah and Philippe Coutinho will miss Friday's FA Cup third-round tie with Everton due to injury.

The duo were absent for Liverpool's 2-1 victory over Burnley on New Year's Day and Jürgen Klopp confirmed on Thursday that he will be without Salah (groin) and Coutinho (thigh) in the 230th Merseyside derby.

However, the boss said Salah and Coutinho's problems 'are not big injuries' and, when asked specifically about the latter, revealed that he expects the No.10 to be back in contention for the Premier League meeting with Manchester City on January 14.
