Liverpool will be seeded in pot three for Thursday's Champions League group stage draw, with 21 possible opponents for Jürgen Klopp's side.

The Reds booked their place in the last 32 of Europe’s premier club competition by completing a 6-3 aggregate victory over Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim on Wednesday night.

And Klopp’s men will discover their next Champions League challenge when the eight groups are drawn in Monaco from 5pm BST on Thursday evening.

UEFA’s draw procedure sees the 32 clubs divided into four pots by coefficient, with one side from each placed in each group and teams from the same country kept apart.

That system means there are 21 potential opponents for Liverpool, listed below…

Pot one
Real Madrid
Bayern Munich
Juventus
Benfica
Shakhtar Donetsk
Monaco
Spartak Moscow

Pot Two
Barcelona
Atletico Madrid
Paris Saint-Germain
Borussia Dortmund
Sevilla
Porto

Pot Four
Celtic
CSKA Moscow
Sporting CP
APOEL
Feyenoord
Maribor
Qarabag
RB Leipzig
