Jürgen Klopp admits Adam Lallana's injury is 'hard' for Liverpool as he prepares to be without the influential midfielder for the coming weeks.

The No.20 sustained a thigh problem while on international duty with England and will now be sidelined for a number of Reds games in the run-in, beginning with Saturday’s Merseyside derby.

“It’s hard for us, of course,” Klopp told Sky Sports.

“How it is in this moment in the season, if you lose a player for three or four weeks, it’s around about eight games – or six or seven games. It’s a lot and it’s hard.”
