Dejan Lovren has urged his teammates to follow the advice of manager Jürgen Klopp by not allowing a recent drop in form to harm their confidence.

The Reds have collected just one point from their last two Premier League outings, losing in dramatic circumstances to Bournemouth before drawing with West Ham United.

But Lovren insists the good work done before those frustrating results should not be completely forgotten.

In fact, the defender says only minor tweaks are needed to ensure things improve over the coming weeks.

"We showed in training sessions that everybody is hungry to get back to the top," he told Premier League Productions.

"Everything went well and then [we stumbled] but, like the manager said, we can't forget what we'd done before these games.

"We need to still keep playing our game and doing the same things but with a little bit more, I would say, respect to the end."
