LFC charity announces inaugural Foundation Day

This special event will take place on Sunday December 13, 2015 at the Reds' meeting with West Bromwich Albion - the last home game before Christmas. 

LFC Foundation Day will see a number of initiatives and activities taking place across the club and local community in order to help raise funds.

All money raised will support the Foundation’s community programmes, including its men’s health programme, military veterans programme, and football development programmes such as Respect 4 All, which provides sporting activity for young people and adults with severe physical and neurological impairments. 

On the day, the LFC Foundation will host free skills and drills challenges and coaching sessions at Anfield Sports and Community Centre, and a blind penalty shootout against a Liverpool legend in the Family Park on Anfield Road.

To celebrate the launch of LFC Foundation Day, a number of incredible money-can’t-buy items will go under the virtual hammer as part of an online auction hosted by charitystars.com.

Auction prizes include a game of golf for you and a friend with Liverpool FC vice-captain James Milner, and a Brazilian dinner with Lucas Leiva, Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino.

In addition, the LFC Foundation will host two online raffles with fantastic prizes up for grabs including the ultimate matchday experience and the opportunity to dine with Reds boss Jürgen Klopp.

All proceeds from the auctions and raffles will support the Liverpool FC Foundation and its programmes in the community.
