Brendan Rodgers has promised Liverpool will strive to give supporters a performance to cheer when they watch their team tackle Norwich City at Anfield this afternoon.
The Reds host the Canaries in the Barclays Premier League with a clear target – recovering from successive defeats in the division against West Ham United and Manchester United.

“I’m well aware that the last two league matches haven’t produced anywhere near the level you want to see from a team representing you and we are all working night and day to put that right,” says Rodgers.
“However, this team, this group of players, needs your support and needs you to stay with them and help them as they bed in and find their fluency.
“It is something you have done brilliantly for us throughout my time here; it’s what sets you apart.
“Anfield is important to us and the impact you make can be the difference. We never take it for granted and we are fully aware that the responsibility is on us to perform for you, not the other way round.
