One of Liverpool's finest bands popped into the LFCTV studios to record a very special rendition of 'Big Red Sky' - their personal tribute to the 96 fans who died at Hillsborough - and you can watch the live performance in our free video.

The Christians were among the most popular acts around during the late 1980s and had high chart releases with classic hits such as 'Forgotten Town', 'Ideal World' and 'Hooverville'.

They still perform to this day and lead vocalist Garry Christian's incredible voice remains one of the most recognisable to come from the city.

The song 'Big Red Sky' is a haunting and emotional melody that is dedicated to the memory of the 96 and their families, to whom all proceeds of the song will go.

Lead singer Garry said: "Being Liverpool boys, the tragedy has remained very close to our hearts.

"We wrote 'Big Red Sky' last year as a tribute to the 96 and their families, and we are donating 100 per cent of any revenue direct to the families.

"Respect, admiration and love goes out to the families, whose strength and devotion has been unfaltering for so many years."
