Lucy Parry has been with Liverpool FC Women since U9 level and signed a first professional contract at the club in the summer of 2022.
The defender graduated all the way through the ranks at the Reds’ academy to become the youngest player ever to appear in the senior side.
That landmark moment came in 2020, when Parry debuted at the age of 16 years and 150 days.
She continued to progress in the subsequent seasons – while also studying for her A Levels – and was part of the LFC Women squad that won the Women’s Championship title in 2021-22 and secured a return to the top flight.
It was ahead of the Reds’ 2022-23 campaign that Parry, who is also an England youth international, celebrated another milestone by putting pen to paper on her first professional deal.
“Becoming a professional is definitely something I’ve been working towards, coming up through the academy it’s a goal I’ve had but to get it done and signed feels amazing,” she said.
“I’ve been a fan all my life, my family are Liverpool fans so when I put the shirt on it means everything to me.”
Parry joined Scottish Women’s Premier League club Hibernian Women on a season-long loan deal in August 2022.
