Hazem Mastouri reduced the Tunisia deficit after the half-time break, before Jan Paul van Hecke swiftly restored the two-goal advantage for the Netherlands as they claimed top spot in Group F.

Cody Gakpo - who completed 84 minutes of the match - and Ryan Gravenberch also started the game for the Dutch.

The Netherlands will now face Morocco in Monterrey in the Round of 32 during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

In the same group, Alexander Isak was selected in attack for Sweden during their 1-1 draw with Japan in Dallas.

The Reds forward was involved in the whole encounter, during which Daizen Maeda and Anthony Elanga were on target for either country as the points were shared.

The result was enough for Sweden to earn themselves a spot in the last 32 as a third-placed team in the group, with their opponents yet to be determined.
