Volunteers invited to lay out Anfield mosaic
By Liverpool FC
Respects will be paid at the stadium at Liverpool’s Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday.
The game is set to be played on the eve of the anniversary of the disaster on April 15, 1989, which resulted in 97 supporters being unlawfully killed.
A mosaic in their memory will be formed on the Kop ahead of kick-off.
Fans who would like to help in preparing the mosaic on Tuesday morning at Anfield can contact Andy Knott via email: akraotl@aol.com.
