Virgil van Dijk has been named in the Netherlands squad for the World Cup.

The Liverpool centre-back was today confirmed as part of Louis van Gaal’s final selection for the tournament in Qatar, which kicks off on November 20.

Netherlands have been drawn in Group A for the tournament and will face Senegal (November 21), Ecuador (November 25) and hosts Qatar (November 29) in the opening phase.
