Danns stepped off the bench in the second half of the contest to net twice in only his third senior appearance for the Reds.
The young forward showed impressive composure in front of goal, adding to debutant Lewis Koumas' earlier opener in the first period.
In our Match Centre poll afterwards, Danns was duly voted Player of the Match by supporters for his Anfield cameo.
