Liverpool FC has released the following important information, including ticket details, for the UEFA Champions League away fixture with AC Milan.

The game will be played on Tuesday December 7, kicking off at 9pm local time. The San Siro stadium is currently operating at 75 per cent capacity.

As it stands, we have received an allocation of 3,269 tickets, excluding 243 top-category seats that are allocated as part of the players, staff and VIP allocation.

Given the COVID-19 status across Europe, we have been made aware that the current situation is subject to change at any stage; this could be in the form of travel restrictions or further reductions of stadium capacities.

Ticket details are outlined below, but we strongly urge supporters to purchase a ticket only if they absolutely intend to travel to Milan and attend the game.

At the time of publication, we cannot confirm if further restrictions from the Italian government will be imposed at any point in the lead-up to the game.

Supporters purchasing tickets will be doing so at their own risk.

The club cannot accept any responsibility for losses incurred due to the purchase of travel and accommodation if further sanctions are imposed. There is a possibility that tickets may be withdrawn and voided prior to the fixture and, if so, supporters will be refunded for the price of the ticket only.

Supporters intending to travel should also check the latest travel requirements here, ahead of leaving for Italy and returning to the UK, to ensure you meet the current health and vaccination requirements.

There may also be additional costs incurred for COVID tests, pre-travel and when you return home.

Those supporters not purchasing a ticket do not need to worry about the game credit for this fixture. This game will not be counted towards any future sales eligibility criteria within this year’s, or future, European away game sales.

The selling details as of today are as follows…

Ticket prices: £41.80.

First sale: Tickets will be available online to season ticket holders and official Members who purchased one of the following Champions League away fixtures recorded during the 2019-20 season: Atletico Madrid, FC Salzburg, KRC Genk or SSC Napoli.

Time of sale: From 8.15am on Friday November 26.

First sale status: Guaranteed - one ticket per qualifying supporter, up to a maximum of 10 tickets per booking.

Ticket sales notes: Tickets are available online and you may have to queue at times.

Due to Italian law, the full name of each supporter attending the game must be written on their ticket.

Photo ID will be requested at the stadium and/or turnstiles and checked against the name on the ticket.

You will be refused entry if…

  • The name on the ticket does not match the photo ID.
  • An attempt has been made to remove or change the name on the ticket.

To make sure you do not experience any issues in receiving your ticket(s) or whilst in Milan, the correct details must be submitted for each individual supporter attending the game.

If the supporter eligible to buy the ticket is not attending the game, the details for the supporter you are giving your ticket to must be provided instead - changes cannot be made once you have completed your purchase.

Please make sure that the details are correct on the form as you will not be able to use the ‘Distribute’ option within My Account, once you have purchased your ticket.

Tickets will only be issued if the details of all supporters are provided. Please check you have updated the online form prior to checking out.

Full selling details will be released here on Tuesday November 30.

Ticket credits: As previously stated, tickets purchased this season will not be used as credits in future seasons. This policy is still in place and will not be changed this season.

As a result of the ongoing pandemic impact, we will not be using this game as a credit during the current season either. We do not want supporters to feel obliged to travel when they do not feel comfortable doing so.

This policy will be reviewed on a game-by-game basis during the competition this season, with details provided ahead of each game.

Please only buy a ticket if you are planning to attend the game.

Overseas support: We would also like to remind supporters that important safety information for supporters travelling to Milan will be provided in the lead-up to the game. The information provided is in conjunction with Italian authorities and LFC club officials, and we strongly advise that you follow all the information and instructions given.

Further away support information is available here.

COVID-19 latest in Italy

As at the date of this notice, the allocation of visitor tickets to LFC is at the sole discretion of the host club in Italy. As a result, the allocation of visitor tickets could be subject to change depending on several factors, including the position of the host club on travelling supporters and/or the latest public health guidance issued by the government of the city of Milan and/or Italy. Given this, LFC recommends that supporters travelling to Milan keep up to date with the very latest health guidance for the city of Milan and/or Italy.

Please note that Liverpool FC will not be responsible for any supporter being refused entry either into the stadium, the city of Milan or the country of Italy.

We advise that supporters refer to and meet the entry requirements on the Italian government website for the latest updates and read the conditions for stadium entry here.
