NewsWorld Cup: Victor Munoz's Spain reach semi-finals after win over Belgium

Victor Munoz's Spain beat Belgium on Friday to progress to the World Cup semi-finals.

Munoz was an unused substitute as Luis de la Fuente's side won 2-1 in Los Angeles to move within a game of the tournament's showpiece.

Fabian Ruiz's opener was equalised by Charles De Ketelaere towards the end of the first half, but Mikel Merino secured a last-four spot for Spain with an 88th-minute winner.

They will now take on France on Tuesday evening.
