FeatureWe Love You Liverpool: Meet Official LFC Supporters Club… Morocco
The Reds’ fan base is famous for its passion and loyalty, cheering on both the men’s and women’s squads whether on Merseyside or watching from afar.
Our We Love You Liverpool feature aims to bring supporters closer together to learn more about each other wherever they are based around the globe.
Whether in the UK and Republic of Ireland, on Merseyside itself, in North or South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia or elsewhere, fans provide the very foundations the club is built on.
Here, we meet OLSC Morocco...
Tell us about the OLSC...
Our supporters' group is unique in that it functions as a national fan base, bringing together Liverpool fans from all across the country. It gradually took shape with the rise of social media, which allowed us to connect, communicate and organise quickly and efficiently. These digital platforms helped turn online interactions into real-life gatherings, both on a national and regional scale.
Our first official meet-ups began in 2015, and after several years of steady growth and commitment, the group was officially recognised as an OLSC by Liverpool in 2019. Given the national nature of our OLSC, it's difficult to provide an exact membership count. However, we have a dedicated core group of around 50 active members, while the extended fan base across the country easily numbers in the hundreds.
How special is it to have the supporters club where you are?
Having an official Liverpool supporters club in our country is incredibly special. It's much more than just watching games together - it's about building a strong sense of community and identity around our shared love for the club. It's a real privilege for us, as it gives us a space to express our passion for Liverpool FC.
The joy is even greater when it's shared with fellow supporters who speak the same language, understand the same culture, and live the same experiences. Even though we're thousands of miles away from Anfield, the connection we feel through the OLSC makes us feel like we're right there on the Kop.

It must give you a sense of community and connection to Liverpool and the club itself?
Absolutely, being part of the OLSC gives us a strong sense of community and a deep connection to Liverpool FC. It bridges the geographical distance and makes us feel truly part of the global Liverpool family. It creates a bond that goes beyond football. It's a shared identity, a feeling of belonging to something greater. In many ways, the club becomes a part of our daily lives, no matter how far we are from Anfield.
What is so special about supporting Liverpool for your members?
What makes supporting Liverpool so special for our members is the strong sense of identity and the values the club represents - passion, devotion, and unity. Supporting Liverpool feels like being part of something meaningful that goes far beyond football.
Do you hold meet-ups for games, or any special events throughout the year?
Apart from our annual group trips to Anfield with the OLSC, we strive to organise meet-ups at the city or regional level for as many matches as possible. National gatherings are usually reserved for special occasions, such as major fixtures or finals involving Liverpool.
Has the OLSC ever visited Anfield?
Since the club officially recognised us, we've organised group trips to Anfield at least once every season. The experience is truly exceptional, adding an extra layer of emotion as we share the excitement with fellow fans in this iconic stadium.
What is your favourite memory together as an OLSC?
We cherish two favourite memories as the OLSC so far: the success of our largest national gathering in Casablanca for Liverpool's sixth European Cup title, with over 100 fans from across the country; and our very first official group trip to Anfield as a recognised supporters club.
Lastly, if anyone else is interested in joining your OLSC, how would they go about doing so?
For information about membership and how to join our OLSC, simply reach out to us through any of our official social media accounts. We are also available on the MyLFC platform.
