Watch'This touched my heart' - Konate surprises family in new 'Dear Liverpool' story
The defender recently met up with Tilly, daughter of Stephen, at her school to kick off a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Eleven-year-old Tilly and Stephen are both huge LFC fans and regularly attend matches at Anfield.
"What can I say about my dad? He's funny but he's quite childish - in a good way!" says Tilly, who was born with spina bifida.
"Around the house, he doesn't have a minute to sit.
"I had a hole in my spine when I was first born. It's impacted because I'm in a wheelchair now. It comes with its highs and its lows.
"With me, it's getting from A to B, to my medical stuff that I have to have done, and lifting. They're the main ones. And getting in the car, he lifts me.
"I don't think he realises how much he does for me."
Stephen was invited to Tilly's school under the pretence of checking out some of her artwork.
Waiting to meet him instead, though, was Konate.
"Your daughter said you're the best dad in the world," said the Frenchman. "And she made a letter to LFC.
"She said many good things about you and what you did for her. This touched my heart as well."
After a poignant chat with the family about their journey together and passion for the Reds, Konate whisked them off for a tour of the AXA Training Centre.
And there were some further surprises along the way, too.
Take a look at how it all unfolded in the video above.
