NewsRyan Gravenberch's Leeds preview: 'We have to go with our strength and power'
The Reds will make a swift return to action on Saturday in a 5.30pm GMT kick-off at Elland Road.
Arne Slot's side defeated West Ham United 2-0 last weekend at London Stadium, ahead of a midweek 1-1 draw with Sunderland at Anfield.
Daniel Farke's Leeds provide the third top-flight opposition inside seven days for Liverpool, and Gravenberch is hopeful he and his teammates can build on the four points accrued so far.
"We were happy with the result against West Ham," Gravenberch told Liverpoolfc.com.
"I think in the first half we played some good football there and the second half was a bit different. Then the game against Sunderland was a difficult game. We know they are a good team and they're doing really well this season.
"We conceded again for 1-0 but we showed that we still have a fighting spirit to come back. It didn't go our way but in the end we got one point, so a win and a draw. We can be a bit happy but with the draw we are not happy. Now we go again on Saturday."
Leeds enter the fixture following an impressive 3-1 home victory over Chelsea in midweek, a result that moved the hosts outside the relegation places.
The Whites have acquired 11 of their 14 points this season at Elland Road and pose a stern threat in front of their own supporters.
"We know that an away game there is not easy," Gravenberch continued. "You see also other teams really struggling there. But we have to go with our own strength and power and show that we can do it there.
"We know that they are really physical and also the atmosphere there - they have a really good stadium. We have to prepare well for that. I'm really looking forward to it.
"It's always nice to play in this kind of atmosphere. Then you want to show them that we can do it as well."
