Rangers pay respects at the Hillsborough memorial

Rangers FC have paid their respects to the 97 supporters who lost their lives in the Hillsborough tragedy.

Liverpool host the Scottish Premiership side at Anfield on Tuesday night, with the Champions League Group A fixture the first competitive meeting between the clubs.

On the eve of the contest, Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst and captain James Tavernier visited the Hillsborough memorial and laid a wreath in memory of the victims of the disaster on April 15, 1989.
