More than 23,000 supporters were in attendance as Liverpool FC Women were edged out 1-0 by Everton Women.

It was a special occasion for Natasha Dowie – a former player of both clubs and two-time WSL winner with the Reds – as tributes were delivered following her recent retirement from playing.
