NewsNgumoha and Szoboszlai strikes up for Premier League Goal of the Month

Winning strikes from Rio Ngumoha and Dominik Szoboszlai have been nominated for the Premier League’s Goal of the Month award for August.

Ngumoha became Liverpool's youngest scorer in history when he delivered the decisive effort in the 100th minute of the 3-2 victory at Newcastle United.

Szoboszlai, meanwhile, settled the Anfield showdown with the Gunners in the Reds' favour by finding the top corner with a sublime free-kick from more than 30 yards out.

Each of those moments have been shortlisted for the division’s finest strike in the opening month of the new campaign.

Fans can cast a vote for the award at preml.ge/gotmaug2025. The poll closes at 12pm BST on Monday (September 8).
