Ramos is in line to make her L4 debut on Sunday (2pm BST kick-off) and she will be proud to follow in the footsteps of compatriots like Fernando Torres, Luis Garcia and Xabi Alonso by playing in front of the Kop.
The No.6 scored her first goal for the Reds with a brilliant solo effort during Wednesday night’s 4-2 win over Sunderland in the Subway Players Cup.
And the supporters have already taken the midfielder to their hearts by singing a song with the simple lyrics ‘Vamos, Ramos!’.

To score my first goal for Liverpool is significant. I’m so proud but the most important thing was the win for the team. I am so happy here. I know I’m playing for a very big club and I’m so happy to get my first goal here. Hopefully this can be the first of many for me.
On the importance of getting back to winning ways after the frustrating late loss at Manchester City…
I’m so proud about the work from all of the team. We had intensity, we showed a good attitude, the players that came in did very well and it was important to get this winning feeling ahead of the match on Sunday.

It makes me proud to be another player from Spain to play for Liverpool. The men’s team also has a very good coach in Andoni Iraola.
On the challenge of a Merseyside derby…
It’s going to be incredible. Every game is important here because this is such a big club with a lot of history. We can’t wait for this game and it will be very special to play at Anfield in front of our fans and we thank them for their support. We just need to focus and play our game and we want this win.

I love it! I feel so privileged that the fans have a song for me and it means so much. It’s incredible. I feel at home here at Liverpool. I am so grateful for their support and the way they have welcomed me to this club. I would like to thank them very much.
