NewsNat Phillips joins Cardiff City on loan

Liverpool defender Phillips will complete 2023-24 with Championship outfit Cardiff after he returned to Merseyside from a loan spell with Celtic earlier in January.

Phillips graduated from the Reds’ Academy and has made 29 senior appearances for the club. As well as Celtic, he has also spent time on loan with AFC Bournemouth and VfB Stuttgart.

Cardiff currently sit 14th in the Championship and are next in action on Saturday, when they visit Watford.
