NewsMohamed Salah up for Premier League Player of the Month for September

The Egyptian's four goal contributions for Liverpool during the period have earned him a spot on the seven-man shortlist for the monthly award.

Salah found the back of the net in the home victories against Aston Villa and West Ham United, while assisting twice away at Wolverhampton Wanderers in between.

He is up against Julian Alvarez (Manchester City), Jarrod Bowen (West Ham), Pedro Neto (Wolves), Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur), Kieran Trippier (Newcastle United) and Ollie Watkins (Villa) for the Player of the Month prize.
