NewsMilos Kerkez reveals the result of padel match against Steven Gerrard
Earlier this week, Szoboszlai shared a photo on social media of him and Liverpool teammate Kerkez facing the legendary former Reds captain on the court.
Kerkez, a self-professed novice at the sport, admits Gerrard and his companion were worthy winners on the day.
The left-back told Liverpoolfc.com: "Yes, it was good. We talked with a friend, with Steven to play one day.
"I wanted to come, so obviously I needed a teammate. I called Dom and Dom came with me.
"I don't play often, so we got beat because Stevie plays good. It was fun.
"You go to play for fun. I'm learning to play it, I'm having fun playing it. It's a nice sport, quite nice, and it was a good day. A good day off."
Can we expect a rematch in the near future?
"Yes, soon," Kerkez said. "I was texting with Steven and I told him that I will get better in a month or two and then we will have a serious match also then for who's going to win. But until now I'm going to practise."
