VfL Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven has revealed he is aware of apparent Liverpool interest – but reiterated his future will be resolved after this summer's U21 European Championship.

The Holland defender has emerged as a possible summer option for the Reds, with reports in Germany suggesting Liverpool are keeping tabs on his future.

Jorg Schmadtke, who is in the early days of his tenure as the new sporting director, knows the 22-year-old well after signing him during his time with Die Wolfe.
