Liverpool could end up paying more than four times Erling Haaland’s initial release clause if they successfully make a move for the Borussia Dortmund striker, according to reports.

The 21-year-old has maintained his phenomenal form since arriving at Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020, scoring 76 goals in 75 games.

His prolific nature in front of goal has reportedly prompted interest in the Norwegian from several of Europe’s biggest clubs - with Liverpool rumoured to be one of them.
