Jamal Musiala has reportedly suspended contract negotiations at Bayern Munich - with Liverpool ready to pounce for the player "on their list for a long time."

In recent years the Reds have had a good relationship with the German champions of the last 11 years.

In 2020 a deal was brokered to bring Thiago Alcantara to Anfield, then two years later Sadio Mane headed in the opposite direction.
