Liverpool have made contact with RB Leipzig over the potential signing of winger Yan Diomande.

Sky Sports News understands that no offer has been made but the club have made their interest known.

It was previously reported that the Ivory Coast international is being considered as an option by other clubs in England, including both Manchester sides.

Sky in Germany reported in April that he is also a target for Bayern Munich and PSG but Leipzig are keen for him to sign a new deal.
