NewsLiverpool and Chicago Bears join forces for meet and greet at Albert Dock
Bears legend Charles Tillman and current star Josh Blackwell both visited the city and met local fans of the NFL franchise and the Reds.
Liverpool hero Robbie Fowler was also on hand to welcome the pair to Merseyside as they swapped jerseys and gave away a range of items to fans, along with posing for pictures and answering questions.
The Bears duo also visited the Academy in Kirkby and were at Wavertree to hold a number of clinics in the days after, which was also attended by mascot Mighty Red.
Liverpool will travel to Chicago later this summer as part of their pre-season preparations for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
The Reds will take on Leeds United at Soldier Field - the home of the Bears - on August 2, in the final game of their tour of the USA, with fans able to purchase tickets for the fixture here.
Andoni Iraola's squad will begin their schedule in the USA by facing Sunderland in Nashville on July 25 and tickets are available here.
They will then meet Wrexham in New York on July 29 - with tickets available here - ahead of the finale in Chicago.
