NewsLFC fitness update: Ryan Gravenberch, Alexander Isak, Curtis Jones
The midfielder could return for Saturday night's 8pm GMT kick-off at Anfield, having been absent for the past three matches.
However, Alexander Isak and Curtis Jones are set to miss the meeting with Unai Emery's side as they recover from injuries.
"Ryan trained with us yesterday. The other two didn't yet," head coach Arne Slot told his pre-match press conference on Friday morning.
On possible return timescales for Isak and Jones, he replied: "As I said many times, in the end phase of the injury things can slow down a bit or things can go faster. Let's wait and see where they are.
"Like I said, Ryan trained with us for the first time yesterday, will train with us today. Then we are going to make the call if he is able to start, yes or no.
"The other two are probably 99.9 per cent sure not in the squad [on] Saturday."
