InternationalsHugo Ekitike receives first senior France call-up

The striker - who joined the Reds from Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this summer - had previously been capped by his country up to U21 level.

Ekitike has now secured a senior call and will be included in Didier Deschamps' squad for the upcoming international break as a replacement for the injured Rayan Cherki.

France will take on Ukraine (September 5) and Iceland (September 9) in World Cup qualifying action.
