NewsGravenberch, Salah and Van Dijk up for Premier League Player of the Season

The Liverpool trio are in contention for the 2024-25 prize having played leading roles in the Reds being crowned champions in April with four games to spare.

Their respective contributions to the club’s title-winning campaign see them feature on a shortlist for the division’s star performer alongside five other players.

Morgan Gibbs-White, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo, Declan Rice and Chris Wood are also candidates.

Both Salah and Van Dijk could claim the accolade for the second time in their career. The former clinched it in 2017-18 and was succeeded by the latter in 2018-19.

Voting for the award is open here until 12pm BST on Monday (May 19). The winner will be announced on May 24.
