'A giant' - the football world pays tribute to Kevin Keegan

The Liverpool FC legend has died at the age of 75 after being diagnosed with cancer.

A hugely popular figure in the game, Keegan scored 100 times for the Reds between 1971 and 1977 - a spell in which he won three league titles, a European Cup, an FA Cup and two UEFA Cups.

He went on to claim the Ballon d’Or twice while representing German team Hamburg.

His playing career also included time with Scunthorpe United, Southampton and Newcastle United.

Keegan later went into management and led Newcastle (twice), Fulham, Manchester City and England.
