NewsFuka Nagano signs new contract with Liverpool FC Women
The Japan international midfielder prolongs a spell at the Reds that began when she arrived from North Carolina Courage in January 2023.
Nagano has since made 64 appearances in all competitions for the club, with 26 of those coming in the last campaign.
As well as providing four assists during 2024-25, the No.8 was also able to celebrate her first goal: a fine finish in the 3-1 win over Manchester United at Anfield in March.
Nagano will now look forward to a third full campaign in the Barclays Women’s Super League, which will get under way at Anfield against Everton on September 7.
She follows Ceri Holland, Rachael Laws, Faye Kirby and Mia Enderby in signing new deals at the club this summer, while Kirsty Maclean, Rafaela Borggrafe, Sam Kerr and Lily Woodham have arrived too.
