Liverpool FC Women manager Matt Beard will make a late check on the fitness of Fuka Nagano ahead of Saturday's Adobe Women's FA Cup quarter-final tie with Leicester City.

The Reds midfielder and Japan international is set to have a scan on a hamstring problem on Friday afternoon.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference at the AXA Melwood Training Centre, Beard said: "The only doubt is Fuka.

"She has got a bit of a hamstring issue and will have a scan this afternoon. Hopefully that will be all-clear, but we'll know more later on that one."

He added: "Shanice van de Sanden has trained this week, so she is back available for selection. Apart from that, it's still just Taylor Hinds. Everyone else is fighting fit."

Beard will also be without Ceri Holland for the 12pm GMT kick-off at Prenton Park as she serves the final match of a two-game ban.
