Defender Araujo arrived at the club on loan from FC Barcelona on Monday and was involved in the Reds' midweek workout.

Alexis Mac Allister, who began pre-season earlier this week, also trained, while Jeremy Jacquet and Curtis Jones, both of whom missed last weekend's match against AS Monaco, took part, too.

Andoni Iraola's squad are looking ahead to a friendly double-header against Como 1907, and rapid-paced rondos and intense team drills were on the agenda on Wednesday.
