Liverpool won 101 of the previous 247 derbies, with 78 draws and 68 defeats. In league fixtures, the Reds have won 84 and lost 59.

Victory on Sunday would see Liverpool tie the number of wins at Everton at 35-35.

The Reds won their last two Premier League games against the Blues, though both came at Anfield. They last won three consecutive league Merseyside derbies between April 2016 and April 2017.

Everton won just one of their last 14 Premier League home fixtures versus Liverpool, though 10 of those games finished level.
