NewsDiogo Jota: It's great to be back with the team

The forward arrived in Pittsburgh on Thursday evening to link up with his teammates, who began their USA pre-season tour on Tuesday.

Jota had been on a summer break having represented Portugal at Euro 2024, and is now eager to get his pre-season work under way.

“It’s great to be back with the team, I just landed in Pittsburgh,” he told Liverpoolfc.com. “Now I’ll get some rest and get ready to start working tomorrow.

“I’ll try to catch up [fitness-wise] with the team, do my physical work first to be ready to start doing my tactical work to get ready for the new season.”
