Head coach Arne Slot has achieved a feat never done before in Liverpool history after his side defeated Bologna on Wednesday night.

The Dutchman became the only boss in Reds history to preside over eight wins in their opening nine matches in charge.

Slot clinched the club record on his first European night at Anfield, where his team beat their Serie A opposition 2-0 thanks to goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Mohamed Salah.
