By Chris Shaw
The Liverpool head coach is one of five candidates to claim the Cruyff Trophy honour after leading his team to Premier League glory in 2024-25.
Slot guided the Reds to the English title with four matches to spare in April, achieving championship success in his first season in charge of the club.
Named LMA Manager of the Year earlier in 2025, he is now in the running for the best coach accolade at the Ballon d’Or ceremony on September 22.
Slot is on a shortlist that also includes Antonio Conte, Luis Enrique, Hansi Flick and Enzo Maresca.
