Andy Robertson's Scotland suffered a 3-1 defeat by Ukraine in a World Cup play-off semi-final on Wednesday night.

The full-back played all of the contest at Hampden Park that was decided by goals from Andriy Yarmolenko, Roman Yaremchuk and Artem Dovbyk, with Callum McGregor pulling one back for the hosts to make it 2-1.

The result sets up an encounter between Ukraine and Wales on Sunday to determine who qualifies for the 2022 World Cup.

Earlier in the evening, Neco Williams appeared as a second-half substitute for Wales as they were beaten 2-1 by Poland in the UEFA Nations League.
