Alisson Becker has been nominated for the Premier League's February Save of the Month award.

The Liverpool goalkeeper is shortlisted for his brilliant close-range stop to deny Miguel Almiron during the opening minutes of an eventual 2-0 victory at Newcastle United.

Alisson rushed from his line to thwart Almiron one-on-one, with the Brazilian’s overall performance earning Player of the Match plaudits on the night.

He is up against Kepa Arrizabalaga, Aaron Ramsdale, David de Gea and Jordan Pickford for the Save of the Month prize.
