The Liverpool midfielder completed an hour of the fixture overnight on Wednesday and helped his nation produce a comeback win following Manfred Ugalde’s first-half opening goal.
Angel Di Maria levelled the contest seven minutes after the break, before Mac Allister was in the right place at the right time to head home a rebound to put Argentina in front.
Lautaro Martinez then added a third strike 13 minutes from time, putting the result beyond doubt and making it two wins from two for Argentina during their United States camp.
