    £10K Penalty Challenge Prize Draw Terms and Conditions (the “Prize Draw Terms”)

    Acceptance of Terms

    1. By participating in the “£10K Penalty Challenge Prize Draw” (the “Prize Draw”), you fully agree and accept these Prize Draw Terms together with any specific instructions or requirements which may be communicated by LFC on the relevant section of its website and/or any other applicable channels from time to time.

    2. In addition, you acknowledge that if you are selected as a winner of the Prize Draw you will be automatically entered into the Competition (as defined below). As such, by entering into the Prize Draw you confirm that you have read and accept the Competition Terms (also defined below).

    Promoters

    3. For the purposes of the Prize Draw and the Competition, The Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 35668 and whose registered office is at Anfield Road, Liverpool L4 0TH, UK (“LFC”) shall be considered the Promoter.

    Eligibility and Prize Draw Details

    4. The Prize Draw is open solely to individuals who attend LFC’s home stadium Anfield or LFC’s official store at Anfield, on 1st March 2023 prior to, during or after LFC’s home match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

    5. In addition to the above, in order to enter the Prize Draw you must be based in the UK and aged 18 or over by the Opening Date to participate. Proof of identity may be required. This must be provided on request.

    6. For the avoidance of doubt, the following people shall not be permitted to enter the Prize Draw:

    a. LFC employees;

    b. LFC Foundation employees;

    c. any employees of any LFC or LFC Foundation affiliates, subsidiaries or partners;

    d. anyone involved in the creation and/or operation of the Prize Draw in any way; or

    e. any friends or family members of the individuals mentioned above.

    7. By entering the Prize Draw you confirm that all information submitted by you is true, current, and accurate.

    8. Entry to the Prize Draw is free, however you should be aware that entry may be subject to data charges depending on their own individual arrangements for internet access. In addition, you acknowledge and agree that any costs incurred from participating in the Prize will be borne by you and not LFC.

    9. To enter the Prize Draw, entrants are required to be seen to dispose of their waste in the correct bin at Anfield, or LFC’s official store at Anfield, on Wednesday 1st March 2023 either prior to, during or after LFC’s home match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Specific staff will be on hand across Anfield to spot those responsibly disposing of waste and will approach those that do to ask if they wish to enter into the Prize Draw.

    10. The Prize Draw will be open from 17:30pm GMT on Wednesday 1st March 2023 (“Opening Date”). Closing date for entry will be at 21:30pm GMT on Wednesday 1st March 2023 (“Closing Date”). After the Closing Date no further entries to the Prize Draw will be permitted and any such entries received shall be automatically disqualified.

    11. LFC shall accept no responsibility for any entries not received by the Closing Date for whatever reason, including because of entries being lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.

    12. Each person is only entitled to 1 entry in the Prize Draw. If you submit, or attempt to submit, multiple entries for the Prize Draw, then LFC will be entitled to disqualify all of our entries.

    13. The winning entrants will be selected at random by the Club using a verifiable computerised system producing random results from all valid entries received by the Closing Date and in accordance with the Prize Draw Terms.

    14. The winners will be contacted by phone and/or email within 72 hours of the Closing Date. Only the “Prize Draw” winners will be contacted by the Club.

    15. Once confirmation of acceptance of the Prize has been received from a winner, the Club may then request further information from the winner, such as their full name, country of residence, postal address, email address, contact telephone number and proof of identity.

    16. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact each winner by the Club. If a winner:

    a. cannot be contacted within 72 hours of the Prize Draw Closing Date;

    b. fails to communicate their acceptance of the Prize by responding to the Club’s contact within 24 hours of being contacted by LFC;

    c. is no longer able to, or no longer wishes to, participate in the Prize;

    d. has not complied with these Prize Draw Terms;

    e. has not, or is no longer willing to, comply with the Competition Terms,

    then LFC reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random.

    Prizes

    17. The prize is the opportunity to take part in a penalty shootout competition at a location in Liverpool to be determined on 8th March 2023, during which the winners will also meet members of the LFC men’s first team playing squad (the “Prize”).

    18. Each winner is responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the Prize. This may include travel and accommodation required to participate in the Prize.

    19. Each winner agrees that they will not utilise any the Prize for commercial purposes, and shall not sell any of the items provided to them in relation to the Prize Draw.

    20. The Prize is subject to these Prize Draw Terms and any further regulations relating to the use of the Prize, which may include regulations of entry and/or applicable health and safety policies. By accepting and participating in the Prize, each winner agrees to comply with any and all applicable terms and conditions and regulations in relation to the Prize.

    21. No cash alternative to the Prize will be offered. The Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable. The Prize is subject to availability, and LFC reserves the right at any time to substitute any prize with another of equivalent or greater value without giving notice.

    22. LFC reserves the right in its sole discretion to withhold the Prize from a winner(s) until proof of eligibility and/or identity requested by LFC has been confirmed. If such proof is not produced on request, LFC may disqualify an entrant from the Prize Draw. LFC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that fails to meet the eligibility criteria.

    Publicity and Use of Entry Materials

    23. By agreeing to these Prize Draw Terms, you consent to participate as required by LFC in all publicity relating to this Prize Draw.

    24. You agree that any promotional materials created by LFC in relation to the Prize Draw may:

    a. at LFC’s discretion contain the winner’s details;

    b. be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice or without any fee being due or payable;.

    25. You have the right to withdraw your consent to LFC’s use of your image or Personal Data for the purposes set out above at any time by contacting LFC at dpo@liverpoolfc.com in the first instance.

    Personal Data

    26. To participate in the Prize Draw, you acknowledge that your name, phone number and e-mail address will be made available to LFC (the “Personal Data”).

    27. All Personal Data will be held and used by LFC in accordance with LFC’s privacy policies (which can be found at https://www.liverpoolfc.com/legal/privacy-policy). LFC may also use the information you provide to verify your age and identity.

    General

    28. You must comply with any directions given to you by LFC including, but not limited to, all relevant laws, rules and regulations and must abide by all applicable laws of England and Wales when entering the Prize Draw, and not expose yourself or any other individual, whether participating in the Prize Draw or not, to harm or danger of any kind.

    29. Where you enter or attempt to enter the Prize Draw in a manner, which in LFC’s determination, is contrary to these Prize Draw Terms or is unfair, fraudulent or unjust to another individual or is otherwise not in the spirit of the Prize Draw (including without limitation tampering with the operation of the Prize Draw, hacking, cheating, deception, or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, LFC and/or any of its agents or representatives) then your entry may be rejected from the Prize Draw at LFC’s discretion.

    30. LFC may cancel or amend the Prize Draw, the Prize, the Competition, or these Prize Draw Terms without prior notice and for any reason. Any changes will be posted in an updated version of the Prize Draw Terms and/or communicated via LFC channels from time to prior to the Closing Date. In the event of such change, LFC will be responsible for any loss or damage caused to you as a result of any of these occurrences.

    31. LFC cannot guarantee that the services relating to the Prize Draw, including without limitation any platforms via which individuals can submit their entry application, will be free from errors or omissions nor that they will be available uninterrupted and in a fully operating condition.

    32. LFC will not be liable to you for any loss that is not foreseeable and excludes its liability to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Prize Draw Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury as a result of LFC’s negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability which may not be excluded by law.

    33. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Prize Draw Terms shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Terms shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

    34. The Prize Draw and these Prize Draw Terms will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

    £10k Penalty Challenge Terms and Conditions (the “Competition Terms”)

    Acceptance of Terms

    1. The Competitions Terms are only applicable to the winners of the Prize Draw. By participating in the Competition, you fully agree and accept these Competition Terms together with any specific instructions or requirements which may be communicated by LFC on the relevant section of the its website and/or any other applicable channels from time to time.

    2. For the purposes of these terms, the “Competition” shall mean the penalty shoot-out competition (as further detailed in clause 4) which the Prize Draw winners (each a “Participant” and together the “Participants”) are invited to participate in as their Prize. The Competition is to take place on 8th March 2023, or such other date as LFC notifies the Participants of from time to time (the “Competition Date”) at a location in Liverpool to be confirmed to the Participants by LFC (the “Location”)..

    Eligibility and Competition Details

    3. The Competition is open to the Participants only.

    4. You shall take part in the Competition on the Competition Date. The Competition shall comprise the following:

    a. each Participant shall take place in a “sudden death” penalty shootout (meaning that if a Participant misses their penalty kick they are disqualified from the Competition) on the Competition Date at the Location;

    b. during the Competition, Participants may be invited to take part in “mini-competitions” to win additional prizes (by way of example only, Participants may be challenged to hit a crossbar with the prize for such challenge being a piece of LFC merchandise);

    c. where there are only 2 remaining Participants in the Competition, such Participants will be invited to Anfield on April 9th for the LFC match vs Arsenal (or, subject to fixture changes, an alternative LFC match at Anfield on an alternative date) to take part in the Final Penalty Shootout; and

    d. the final penalty shootout shall comprise of a “best pf 3” penalty shoot out to take place at half time during the LFC match referred to at 4(c), with such shootout being resolved by a further “sudden death” penalty shoot in the event of a draw after the first 3 penalties are taken by each Participant, (the “Final Penalty Shootout”). For the avoidance of doubt, the winner of the Final Penalty Shootout shall be the overall winner of the Competition.

    5. Where one or both of the 2 remaining Participants is no longer be able to attend finalists penalty shootout referred to above, then LFC reserves the right to contact the 3rd placed Participant, the 4th placed Participant etc. until LFC has two Participants for the Final Penalty Shootout.

    Prizes

    6. The following prizes will be on offer during the Competition (each a “Competition Prize” and together the “Competition Prizes”):

    a. the winner of the Competition will receive £10,000; and

    b. the winners of any mini competitions will receive the applicable prize for said mini-competition, such prize to be communicated at the time of the mini-competition.

    7. Each winner is responsible for any expenses and arrangements not specifically included in a Competition Prize. This may include, by way of example only, travel and accommodation expenses required to receive the benefit of a Competition Prize.

    8. Each winner agrees that they will not utilise their Competition Prize(s) for commercial purposes, and where such items are capable of resale, they shall not sell any of the items provided to them in relation to the Competition.

    9. Each Competition Prize is subject to these Competition Terms and any further regulations relating to the use of the Competition Prize. By accepting a Competition Prize, each winner agrees to comply with any and all applicable terms and conditions and regulations in relation to that Competition Prize.

    10. No cash alternative to a Competition Prize will be offered. The Competition Prize(s) is/are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Competition Prize(s) are subject to availability, and LFC reserves the right at any time to substitute any prize with another of equivalent or greater value without giving notice.

    11. LFC reserves the right in its sole discretion to withhold a Competition Prize from a winner until proof of eligibility and/or identity requested by LFC has been confirmed. If such proof is not produced on request, LFC may disqualify that entrant from the Competition and reissue the applicable Competition Prize. LFC reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that fails to meet the eligibility criteria.

    Publicity and Use of Entry Materials

    12. By agreeing to these Competition Terms, you consent to your name, image and any other Personal Data (as defined below) provided by you to LFC being used by LFC, and to participate as required by LFC, in all publicity relating to the Competition.

    Risk and Liability

    17. By participating in the Competition, you recognise and understand that your involvement in the Competition involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to, the potential for death, serious physical injury, extreme emotional distress, mental or physical illness and property loss.

    18. Further to the above, you acknowledge and agree that:

    a. you are voluntarily engaging in the Competition, whether supervised or unsupervised, monitored or unmonitored by LFC at your own risk and with full knowledge and appreciation of any and all physical, mental and legal dangers and risks inherent therein;

    b. you will notify LFC as soon as reasonably possible upon suffering an injury which prevents your participating in the Competition, and shall not participate in the competition where you have an injury that prevents you from doing so and/or you have been medically advised not to participate;

    c. LFC are not responsible for any of the injuries, damages or loss (financial or otherwise) that you may incur in connection with your participation in the Competition; and

    d. to the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless LFC, its affiliates, and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, consultants, volunteers and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from your participation in the Competition.

    19. You understand that LFC has not arranged, and does not have insurance of any kind, for your benefit, and that you are solely responsible for obtaining and paying for any necessary medical, life, accident, automobile, property or other insurance required in relation to their participation in the Competition.

    20. You recognise and understand that LFC does not intend for you to violate any laws, regulations or codes (national or international) in connection with the Competition. Further, you acknowledge and agree that:

    a. you will abide by any and all applicable laws in relation to the Competition, and not expose themselves or any other individual participating in the Competition to harm or danger of any kind;

    b. LFC is not responsible for any violation of laws, regulations or codes with respect to the performance of the Competition by you.

    21. You hereby assume full and sole responsibility for any and all risks associated with your participation in the Competition, including with limitation in respect of any physical or mental injury, illness, death, property damage, and/or violation of applicable laws, regulations and/or codes.

    22. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless LFC from any and all losses, liabilities or expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal fees, resulting from any claims, proceedings or investigations arising from or in connection with its and its members:

    a. participation in the Competition;

    b. failure to comply with these Competition Terms; and

    c. failure to comply with any applicable laws.

    General

    23.
