Robertson’s Liverpool career concludes with him just a fraction outside the top 30 on the club’s all-time appearances list, having leapfrogged the likes of Roberto Firmino, Robbie Fowler, Alan Kennedy, Mark Lawrenson and Graeme Souness by featuring 36 times during his ninth and final season.

244 victories

He contributed to 244 match wins throughout his time at Liverpool – accumulating a win percentage of 64.6. Under Jürgen Klopp, there were 194 victories, while the defender featured in 50 successes during his two seasons led by Arne Slot.

Six years, 10 months

In August 2012, a teenage Andy took to social media to bemoan his life at that time being ‘rubbish without a job’. On the first day of June 2019, a journey of resilience and refusal to give up – via Queen’s Park, Dundee United and Hull City to Liverpool – culminated in the left-back lifting the European Cup above his head with the Reds in Madrid. Remarkable.

Nine medals

Robertson was involved in the winning of nine trophies over the course of his time at the club. Seven of those were squeezed into a brilliant three-year spell that began with that aforementioned European Cup glory.

The 2019-20 season saw him and the Reds lift the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup before being crowned Premier League champions. Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup medals in 2021-22 were followed by a Community Shield win ahead of the next campaign.

Robertson and a new-look squad then secured the second League Cup and league title of his tenure in 2023-24 and 2024-25 respectively.

22,144 minutes

The defender’s huge total of time played in the Premier League for the Reds over the past nine seasons. That is the equivalent of 369 hours or more than 15 full days. It includes 3,385 of a possible 3,420 minutes in 2020-21, when he started all 38 of his side’s top-flight matches.

56 Premier League assists

In the process of contributing to the redefining of the modern full-back role, Robertson placed himself in the Reds’ top five for assists in the Premier League. His incredible tally of 56 set-ups from the back for the club in the division is only bettered, at time of writing, by Mohamed Salah (93), Steven Gerrard (92), Trent Alexander-Arnold (64) and Steve McManaman (58).

Two Team of the Year inclusions

Robertson received the recognition of his peers with a pair of selections in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year decided by his co-professionals. His first inclusion came for the 2018-19 season in which Liverpool lost only once in the league and accrued 97 points. And he retained his spot at left-back in 2020 after the Reds won the championship.

66 Champions League appearances

Robertson’s tally of games in the elite European competition is the sixth-highest figure in club history, behind only Jamie Carragher (91), Gerrard (87), Salah (85), John Arne Riise (68) and Sami Hyypia (67).

12 assists for Salah

The dozen times Robertson created a goal for his fellow departing legend were the most he supplied for any one teammate at Liverpool. The first was in March 2018 and the last in March 2026. Next-highest on the list of the No.26’s assists were Firmino (10) and Sadio Mane (eight), ahead of Diogo Jota and Virgil van Dijk on five occasions each.

Nine armband wears

Part of the dressing room’s designated leadership group in recent years and officially vice-captain for his final season at Anfield, Robertson skippered the Reds nine times. His first opportunity to lead the team out was in an FA Cup tie at Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023.

21 meetings with Man City

The Manchester club were Robertson’s most-played opponent while wearing the Liver bird on his chest, with 21 appearances against them in all competitions. His other frequent opponents included Chelsea (19) and Tottenham Hotspur (19).

Three goals against Wolves

The Midlands outfit, meanwhile, were Robertson’s favourite team to score against for the Reds, with strikes in May 2022, September 2023 and March 2026. The only other club he netted past more than once were Tottenham – away from home in December 2021 and at Anfield in May 2024.

A 100-yard press

The total distance Robertson covered with his famous press against Man City in January 2018 was 100 yards. A memorable moment as the defender established himself in the starting XI, his relentless chasing-down remains an abiding image from a Premier League classic at Anfield in which Liverpool prevailed 4-3.

“I love, love, love, love that,” said Klopp. “And it got celebrated and appreciated and remembered for the right reasons. The thing is, he didn’t get the ball! You could say, ‘What a useless run.’ But it’s the opposite. It’s the absolute opposite. It set the tone for absolutely everything.”
