LFC International Academy is delighted to confirm its US Summer Camp program for 2019.

Youngsters across the US will have the opportunity of learning to play The Liverpool Way when the Summer Camps return with a bespoke program. The camps will visit nine states, with LFC coaches flying out from the UK to deliver sessions in each location.

During each camp, participants will be taking part in practical coaching sessions and LFC skills challenges, improving their technical ability and tactical understanding of the game all whilst having a great time being part of the program.

The camps are open to boys and girls, aged 5-17.

Youngsters will enjoy coaching sessions which are delivered in-line with LFC’s philosophy of developing their own players. The LFC Academy has produced some of soccer’s biggest stars over the years, including Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Michael Owen.

Speaking about the US Summer Camp program for 2019, LFC International Academy Program Manager, Steven Gillespie, said:

“Our coaches really look forward to the US Summer Camps and the opportunity to show our young fans in America just how special LFC is. Our Summer Camps replicate how we coach players at the LFC Academy in the UK, so it’s an incredibly beneficial and authentic experience.

“We not only provide our young players with bespoke technical expertise and a chance to develop their skills and techniques on the pitch, but they also learn lifelong off-pitch skills, attitudes and behaviours, based on the core values of The Liverpool Way in a fun and enjoyable environment.”
