Players are now invited to register for the first LFC International Academy programme in Cyprus. The season will start on September 4th and run through to June 29th.

All registered players will receive a New Balance LFC International Academy kit and the option to participate in session throughout the week at the GSP Stadium, Strovolos Municipality Sports Centre or the Grammar School in Nicosia.

Players will be taught the same curriculum that is delivered at the LFC Academy in Liverpool, and will learn to play the Liverpool way. Sessions will be age and ability-specific, great fun for the participants and will challenge the players across the five key aspects of the LFC development model – technical, tactical, physical, mental and social.

“This project will provide many opportunities for young players here to Cyprus to improve their skills and be developed via our unique coaching system. Players will get a coaching experience in Cyprus that follows the LFC Academy curriculum and will give them every chance to develop both on and off the pitch” commented Liverpool FC legend and former player Ian Rush.
