LFC International Academy

Partner rights

  • Rights for the partner to operate a LFC International Academy from a main hub facility on an exclusive basis in the agreed territory.
  • Further opportunities to extend operations with satellite centres outside of this main hub (within territory).
  • Rights to run weekend courses, holiday courses, after school course and on-going player development programmes.
  • The set-up and coaching operation insight made available via our Academy manuals, online systems and LFC support provided through theimplementation process.
  • Use of LFC International Academy intellectual property in accordance with our guidelines and following LFC approval.
  • A link from the LFC website (www.LFCIA.com) to your dedicated website to promote the programmes.
  • An experienced LFC lead coach who fully understands the requirements of the Academy programme to work on the project. We can supply further coaches to support expansion as and when required. Our coaches are of the highest calibre and understand the unique principles of delivering sessions The Liverpool Way on behalf of our partners.
  • LFC eAcademy access for all registered players.

Key considerations

  • Agreements are for a minimum of three years and the year one LFC fee is payable on the contract signing date.
  • Partner recruits local coaches to assist in the delivery of the programme. LFC lead coach will support with recruitment, training and assessment.
  • The partner is responsible for all coach costs including salary, visas, travel and accomodation (including those coaches supplied by LFC).
  • Employment contracts to be issues and agreed directly with the coach/coaches (including coaches supplied by LFC).
  • Equipment and apparel for staff and participants would need to be purchased through official LFC channels and approved by LFC.
  • We won’t allow any third party corporate sponsorship.
  • The partner is responsible for setting up and maintaining a fully operational website to promote the Academy and enable participants to book course places.
  • The partner would need to comply with LFC’s child protection policy and ensure the safety of participants at all times.
  • Regular reports are due back to LFC outlining the coaching programme, staff reviews, participants numbers and any expansion plans.
  • LFC fees are added on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on the territory.

Next steps

To be considered as a partner you must submit a business plan which outlines the following:

  • Proposed territory.
  • Partner expertise and relevant experience.
  • Overview of key individuals involved in the project.
  • Outline of the company providing the LFC fee with evidence of the organisation’s ability to fund the operation.
  • Proposed venues details – locations, operators and level of access.
  • A marketing plan to include website details and proposed marketing channels for promotion of the programmes/courses.
  • Proposed programme detail including course types, number of participants, players fees and projected revenues for each of the first three years.
  • Financial overview to include an outline budget for the first three years (include your projected breakeven date and also your breakeven player number).
  • Project timing plan.
  • Your overall objectives for the LFC International Academy.
